I've been performing long and shortform improv for twelve years and teaching for eight. I've travelled to Japan, across the USA and Europe, and to Edinburgh Fringe 2022 and 2024, to improvise with lots of groups in lots of styles.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "I think cameron brings great joy to a festival. His team was different and so funny. Awkward, dark humour, that I love!"
"Mr. Cameron is very nice guest who is very quiet and clean and follow house rules. I like to host him."
My style of teaching is less talk, more action. I'll get you doing more of the things that make improv easy and less of the things that make improv difficult. I know that fun improv relies on skills that must be practised into habit. The principles I teach are sincerity, reliability and respect. Read feedback for my teaching
"Cameron is an excellent improv teacher. I’d recommend him to anyone interested in having a great learning experience while advancing their improv skills. I learned how to be more comfortable and present on stage. His positive attitude and guidance improved my confidence as an improviser. Take a class or workshop from Cameron if you can."
"After facing the facts in this sacred text, you will know everything worth knowing, and nothing that isn't."
"Know thy shelf."
I host a Zoom improv jam on most some Saturdays. Join the Facebook group for info on upcoming jams. We do scenes, group games and cracking small-talk. BYO style. It's a low-stakes chance to practice with worldwide improvisers.
